Joy Division
Joy Division were an English rock band formed in Salford in 1976. The group consisted of Ian Curtis, Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook and Stephen Morris. They were one of the pioneers of the post-punk movement. Tony Wilson, signed them to Factory Records. Their debut album Unknown Pleasures, recorded with producer Martin Hannett, was released in 1979. Curtis committed suicide in 1980. The remaining members regrouped under the name New Order.

The Libertines are an English rock band, formed in London in 1997 by frontmen Carl Barât and Pete Doherty. The band was part of the garage rock revival and spearheaded the movement in the UK. Primal Scream
Primal Scream are a Scottish rock band originally formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie and Jim Beattie. They had been performing live from 1982 to 1984, but their career did not take off until Gillespie left his position as drummer of The Jesus and Mary Chain. The band were a key part of the mid-1980s indie pop scene, but eventually moved away from their jangly sound, taking on more psychedelic and garage rock influences, before incorporating a dance music element to their sound with their 1991 album Screamadelica, which broke them into the mainstream. Kurt Cobain was an American singer, songwriter, artist and musician. He was the frontman of the rock band Nirvana, serving as the band's guitarist, lead vocalist, and primary songwriter.
